St. Gabriel the Archangel

Saint Gabriel is primarily known as an archangel and messenger of God. He is famous for announcing the births of John the Baptist and Jesus Christ to Zachariah and Mary, respectively. In both the Old and New Testaments, Gabriel appears to deliver important messages from God. He is also considered the patron saint of communication workers and is venerated for his role in the Incarnation.

Messenger Angel:

Gabriel's main role is that of a messenger, delivering divine pronouncements to humans.

Annunciation:

He is best known for announcing to Mary that she would conceive and bear the Son of God, Jesus.

Other Biblical Appearances:

Gabriel also appears in the Old Testament, particularly in the Book of Daniel, where he interprets visions and prophecies.
